My Impressions

     

     In conclusion I’d like to say that I’ve learned a lot in the course of English Stylistics. I’ve found out that language is a unique system with almost unlimited abilities. It is the expressive resources of the language that allow writers and poets to create literary works we admire so much.
     The work on the stylistic analysis of a short story is definitely a useful experience for me. It changed the way I read literary works. Earlier I read novels and stories and analyzed only the actions of the characters and the ideas the author expressed, but now I’ve started to pay attention to the way these ideas are presented.
     In addition, while reading the posts of my groupmates I’ve made a list of short stories to read when I have time.
     P. S. I still can't believe that I have my own blog. It's awesome that my groupmates follow my blog and I can share my ideas and impressions with them.
